LÈna Gauthier completed a Masterís Degree in Vocal Performance at líUniversitÈ de MontrÈal in 1999, after studying piano and voice at líUniversitÈ Laval and at the Royal Conservatory of Music.
Winner of the Debut Young Concert Artists Competition, semi-finalist for the Joseph-Rouleau Award, and national finalist in her category in the Canadian Music Competition, LÈna also appeared as soloist with various orchestras and ensembles and as a guest at the George Weston Recital Hall, the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Isabel Bader Theatre, only to name a few. Her operatic performances include Mozartís The Magic Flute, Debussyís PellÈas et MÈlisande and Mozartís Don Giovanni. She made her first television appearance in 1998 in Montreal.
LÈna has been teaching students of all ages and levels for the past 18 years. She was an affiliated teacher with the Extension of the Music School of líUniversitÈ Laval from 1989 to 1994, and has been a teacher registered with the Royal Conservatory of Music since 1995.
God's Call...
In 2001, the Lord called LÈna to lay down her own plans for her career to serve Him in a five-fold ministry which would include writing songs, singing, leading worship, teaching music and starting a Christian music school.
Since then, she has founded the LÈna Gauthier Christian Music Academy, a music school dedicated to equip Christians with excellent musical skills integrating a Bible-based, worshipful approach to music. In 2003, she released her first CD entitled The seed that I am.

What does it take to truly worship God? A seed.
A seed of humility to deny ourselves and to bow down to our God and Father.
A seed of love to give back to our King and Savior the love He first gave us.
A seed of wisdom to know Godís Word and praise Him according to His will.
A seed of faith to disregard circumstances and emotions and run to our Shepherd.
A seed of patience to remain steadfast in Him Who is always faithful.
A seed of joy to always behold the promise, rejoicing in the midst of the storm.
A seed of excellence to bring to God the very best, our whole and surrendered lives.
As you listen and meditate on the words of these songs, may you give yourself as a seed
into Godís hand, that He may plant you, root you, water you and grow you to bear the fruit
that only you can bring!

LÈna is the Music Co-ordinator and one of the worship leaders at Destiny & Dominion Word Ministries (DDWM). Her husband, Vincent, and she both serve in the church under the covering of their pastor Rev. Marcus Martinez. They are the proud parents of miracle children, David and Marie.
